Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted March 17, 2023 Journalists Posted March 17, 2023 The first lots for the March Auctav Sale catalogue are now online and the list includes recent Fontainbleu maiden winner Soleil d'Arizona (Fr) (Prince Gibraltar {Fr}), a 3-year-old daughter of SW Roxanne (Fr) (Falco). The bay filly won the 2200 metre test on Mar. 8 by two lengths. “She's a very good filly who still has some margin,” trainer Francois Monfort said. “Soleil d'Arizona will only get better. She came back from her race very well. For her debut, she needed some rhythm, that's why I chose to run her in a maiden rather than a beginner's race. Her jockey Tony Piccone really liked her. She is perfect in condition and will really come into her own mentally and physically over the summer.
