Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted April 1, 2023 Journalists Posted April 1, 2023 Unstoppable at Oaklawn Park, Wet Paint (f, 3, Blame–Sky Painter, by Street Cry {Ire}) swept Oaklawn's 3-year-old filly series and stayed unbeaten in Hot Springs with a win in the GIII Fantasy S. The 3-5 choice trailed far back early as 5-1 Grand Love (Gun Runner) led with her ears pricked through :22.98 and :47.08 fractions. Looming menacingly on the turn, Wet Paint swept past the field on the outside under minimal encouragement as Taxed (Collected) and Olivia Twist (Mshawish) chased her home. The Fantasy is a points race on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks with a 100-40-30-20-10 scale. O/B-Godolphin, LLC; T-Brad Cox. This story will be updated shortly.
