The mare is out of recently deceased Starry Dreamer (Rubiano), making her a half-sister to super sire War Front (Danzig), MGSW Ecclesiastic (Pulpit), and two other stakes horses. Teammate has already produced SW Team of Teams (Elusive Quality) and GSP Team Colors (Street Cry {Ire}). This colt, a Steve Asmussen pupil, is a Calumet Farm homebred. TJCIS PPs 5th-BEL, $75K, Msw, 2yo, f, 1 1/16mT, post time: 3:36 p.m. ET A pair of More Than Ready fillies aim to impress in their career debuts here. The first, ON THE TOWN (More Than Ready), is a $450,000 KEESEP graduate who has been working steadily since May for trainer Mark Hennig. With MGSW Blitey (Riva Ridge) as her fourth dam, she hails from one of the deepest families in the stud book and counts GI winners like Dancing Spree (Nijinksy II), Furlough (Easy Goer), Fantastic Find (Mr. Prospector), and Heavenly Prize (Seeking the Gold) among her relatives. Black Dynamite (More Than Ready) was another KEESEP yearling, fetching $350,000, and her dam has already produced three stakes horses, including GISW Killer Graces (Congaree) and MGSW Chocolate Ride (Candy Ride {Arg}). She goes to post for the powerful Chad Brown barn. TJCIS PPs 7th-CD, $56K, Msw, 2yo, 6f, post time: 3:48 p.m. ET With 2-year-old action really getting going, this maiden attracted a number of top prospects. The Brian House trainee TOM (Maclean’s Music) is out of MGSP Quick Temper (A.P. Indy), making him a full brother to last year’s GI Preakness winner Cloud Computing. Their granddam is the tough GI Apple Bloosom winner Halo America (Waquoit). In addition, the $225,000 KEESEP graduate Preamble (Speightstown), whose last two works have been Keeneland bullets, is in this field for Rodolphe Brisset. Preamble is out of SW Beautician (Dehere), runner-up in the 2009 GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies and half-sister to GSWs Mo Tom (Uncle Mo) and Red Ruby (Tiznow). A $250,000 KEESEP yearling, the Al Stall Jr. runner Locally Owned (Distorted Humor) is the first foal out of four-time GSW and MGISP millionaire Fiftyshadesofhay (Pulpit).
