   Impressive on debut in a mile maiden at Leopardstown Aug. 16, Shadwell’s Madhmoon (Ire) (Dawn Approach {Ire}) returned to the same course and distance to replicate that potent finishing kick and garner the newly-promoted G2 KPMG Champions Juvenile S., or Golden Fleece. Settled third early tracking the Ballydoyle pacemakers, the 6-5 favourite swooped on them approaching the furlong pole and drew away for a convincing 2 1/2-length success from Broome (Ire) (Australia {GB}), with 1 1/4 lengths back to Masaff (Ire) (Raven’s Pass) in third. Trainer Kevin Prendergast is pondering a potential tilt at the Oct. 27 G1 Futurity at Doncaster. “I’ll speak to the boss and see what he says, but if he runs again this year it’ll probably be just that.”
