Sent off the 9-5 favourite, the bay took a long time to warm up in a detached last but once into the straight delivered a strong surge up the centre of the track to collar Magic Wand (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in the last 50 metres and score by a head, with 2 1/2 furlongs back to Zarkamiya (Fr) (Frankel {GB}) in third.
