Gone since his eighth place finish in last year's GI Pennsylvania Derby led in by MGISW Taiba (Gun Runner), We the People (c, 4, Consitution–Letchworth, by Tiznow) made his 4-year-old return here in style, taking the lead after a fair break and going on with it in the stretch to win by open lengths as Britain's Kitten (Big Blue Kitten) and Dash Attack (Munnings) decided the minors.
