Exciting three-year-old Triple G is among an outstanding team Diamond Racing take to Rangiora on Sunday.

Triple G goes into the Rangiora Three-Year-Old Stakes after producing three excellent performances this time in.

The pacer has won twice, with his only defeat coming in a strong second placing behind star three-year-old Don’t Stop Dreaming.

Triple G has been up on the speed in all three runs, but he may not be on Sunday after drawing on the outside of the front line.

But driver John Dunn is confident the horse can show speed from behind if it is required.

“It is just the way things have panned out in his runs lately that he has been on the pace.”

“He is a nice enough horse and he has got a bit of speed so it won’t worry him if he is not as handy.”

Diamond Racing has a three-pronged attack on Sunday’s Rangiora Winter Cup with Heisenberg, Dashing Major and Mighty Looee.

Dunn rates Heisenberg as the best winning chance among the trio.

“You would have to say Heisenberg looks the best chance with the way he has been racing.”

“Dashing Major had a freshen up and he went good last start but he might just need another run.”

“30m is going to tough for Mighty Looee, Heisenberg does look our best chance.”

Robert and Jenna Dunn’s Diamond Racing stable also start Delilah’s Girl and Amazing Me in race 3 on Sunday.

Delilah’s Girl (2) has a huge draw advantage over her stablemate who will be stuck out on the outside of the second row.

“Delilah’s Girl went great fresh up and just with the draw situation she will probably be the better chance.”

Howling Wolf looks another key chance for the Diamond Racing.

On the back of two strong placings, the pacer moves into a very workable number 4 draw.

“He has gone two really good races and he’s got his best draw this time in.”

“He should be a good chance.”

Celtic Arden also looks a strong winning hope from the Dunns, though she may need a slice of luck from barrier 1 on the second row.

“Last start she ran a really good second placing, they ran quick time and she was chasing the whole way.”

“She drew one the second row there and it is just a shame she has drawn there again.”

“If she gets a bit of luck she should go a good race.”

Diamonds Racing also starts Franco Cornel, Absolute Dynamite and Maybe at Rangiora on Sunday.
