Looming large when angled into the clear approaching the quarter-mile marker, the 7-4 second favourite was shaken up with 1 1/2 furlongs remaining and ran on strongly under whipless encouragement in the closing stages to deny Swindler (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) by an ultimately snug 1 1/4 lengths. He is the first foal produced by Listed Forever Together S. runner-up Miss Lamour (Mr. Greeley), herself half to Tejida (Rahy)–who hit the board six times at Grade III level–out of GIII Vinery Matchmaker S. victress Batique (Storm Cat). The latter is kin to GIII Robert G Dick Memorial H. runner-up Trensa (Giant’s Causeway), who in turn is the dam of MG1SW British highweight Hawkbill (Kitten’s Joy) and GI Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity hero Free Drop Billy (Union Rags).
