Out of the listed-winning Afleet Alex mare Shimmering Moment, lot 44 was consigned by Brendan Holland's Grove Stud. She was bought as a foal at Tattersalls for 135,000gns by DPA Bloodstock. Bertran de Balanda confirmed that the filly, who was bred by Mark Gittins of Castlefarm Stud, will be trained by Arnaud Delacour. Blue Point has made a fast start with his first crop of two-year-old runners and is the sire of six winners to date from 18 runners.
