Gone since her stylish victory in Fair Grounds' Letellier Memorial S. as a juvenile to wrap her 2022 season, Dazzling Blue (f, 3, Into Mischief–Blue Violet, by Curlin) returned to the races here for her sophomore unveiling no worse for wear, striding home over a seasoned field–and fellow unbeaten stakes-winner Sunday Shoes (Pioneerof the Nile)–to win with daylight to spare. The final time was 1:10.28.
