Form expert Dale Code has picked out a selection of greyhounds to follow from around Victoria. You may even want to add them to your Blackbook account.

CRASHED (Box 1)
Breeding: June ‘21 Barcia Bale x Submission
Trainer: Keith Lancaster (Melton)
Record: 7 starts 2-3-1

Dale says: It took Crashed five starts to record her first win, but her improvement has been rapid which was evident in her second career win at Geelong on May 25 where she recorded the easiest of wins in a flying 25.65 seconds.

Crashed is engaged to run at Warragul on Tuesday night in Race 5 and I’m expecting her to bring up her third win.

With brilliant early speed and continued growth, Crashed can quickly develop into a top city class performer.

Best traits: Top early speed, appetite for racing
Ideal draw: Box 1
Ideal distance: 460 metres

RAVEN OWL (Box 1)
Breeding: July ‘21 Barcia Bale x My Black Raven
Trainer: Tom Dailly (Anakie)
Record: 14 starts 6-0-1

Dale says: Raven Owl has a real appetite for racing.

Her last four wins have been nothing short of brilliant and her ability to find the inside rail combined with an ability to sustain top speed makes her a weapon over any distance beyond 500 metres.

I would love to see her eventually go over the staying distance where I believe Raven Owl can really make a name for herself.

Best traits: Versatile, tenacious keen railer
Ideal draw: Box 1
Ideal distance: 650 metres

ZIPPING FAYE (Box 7)
Breeding: August ’21 Zipping Garth x Zipping Paris
Trainer: Deb Coleman (Lara)
Record: 1 starts 0-0-1

Dale says: Zipping Faye has had just the one start where she ran a desperately unlucky third from a wide draw.

She is engaged to run at Horsham on Tuesday in Race 1 and from her ideal draw, Zipping Faye looks set to break her maiden status.

If punters can secure a price of $2 or better, that would be good shopping.

Best traits: Solid muster, keen railer
Ideal draw: Box 1
Ideal distance: 400 metres
