The 5-2 chance was sent to the front, set fractions of :24.69 and :49.17, let it out a notch off the turn for home and held safe by a length. 'TDN Rising Star' Far Bridge (English Channel) was second; last term's narrow GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf runner-up Silver Knott (GB) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) was third.

Kalik becomes the fourth stakes winner/second graded winner for young sire Collected.
