Seven Wild Cards Added to Arqana Summer Sale

Seven Wild Card entries have been added to Arqana's Summer Sale, which will be held July 4-6. The latest additions–six horses in training and a filly out of training–are schedule to sell during Thursday's July 6 session, which begins at 11a.m.

Heading the inclusions is Lot 465, Palais Du Louvre (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), one of two offerings from Andre Fabre.  A winner on his comeback over 2,200 metres, he most recently won over 2,400 metres at ParisLongchamp. Out of Allez Alaia (Ire), the 3-year-old colt is from the family of Group winners 1 Halfway to Heaven (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}), Magical (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), Rhododendron (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Photo Call (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).

Also Added, L'Acajou (Ire) (Frankel {GB}), that will go under the hammer as Lot 466. Third on his debut over 1,900 metres last year, he opened his winning account on his comeback over 2,150 metres and has finished third in his last two outings. The three-year-old is out of listed winner Anna Karenina (Ire) (Green Desert), a half-brother to triple group winner Battle of Marengo (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).

A winner on her debut at Dieppe last week, the Amy Murphy-trained Baileys Polka Dot (Fr) (Inns Of Court) will go under the hammer as Lot 467. The 2-year-old hails from the family of group winners Parioli (Ire) (Canford Cliffs {Ire}), Forever Bond (Brz) (Choctaw Ridge) and Fly Dorcego (Brz) (Choctaw Ridge).

Jean-Claude Rouget will offer La Filomena (Ire) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) as Lot 480. A two-time winner this season and never out of the first three in five outings, the daughter of Sagaciously (Ire) (Lawman {Fr}) most recently finished third in the Listed Prix Melisande at ParisLongchamp. The 3-year-old is a sister to the Black-Type Epic Poet (Ire) from the family of Perfect Power (Ire) (Ardad {Ire}), Sagamix (Fr) (Linamix {Fr}), Sagacity (Fr) (Highest Honor {Fr}) and Sageburg (Ire) (Johannesburg).

Rounding on the latest Wild Card entries: Poldino (Fr) (Spanish Moon) (Lot 498), Almerinda (Fr) (Masked Marvel) (Lot 499) and Numeira (GB) (Raven's Pass) (Lot 300).
