Classy chaser Let’s Win Coin commands plenty of ‘currency’ in a Floodfawn Classic heat (500m) – Heat 1 – Race 7, 8.52pm – at Traralgon on Friday night.

Trained by Jessica Sharp, Let’s Win Coin (Box 2) looks a ‘moneymaker’ considering she’s a dual Group 1 Sapphire Crown finalist – 2002 (2nd to Wow She’s Fast) and 2023 (5th to Baby Jaycee).

Those statistics alone indicate she’s a ‘mint’ prospect in the all-female Floodfawn Classic series.

Let’s Win Coin (Mar ’20 Keybow x Let’s Win Meisha) has raced on 69 occasions for 13 wins, 14 seconds and 11 thirds. Her prizemoney totals $115,905.

GRV expert form analyst The Watchdog rates her a $2.50 chance and considers Zara Marnie (Box 6) – prepared by Des Douch – as “the only one capable of running her down”. He’s also marked the G3 Easter Gift finalist, a winner of six from 14, at $2.50.

The Watchdog has assessed Sunnyside Jo (Box 4, $3) and Aston Salma (Box 8, $3.50) as the testing material in Heat 2 (Race 8, 9.17pm).

Trained by Matt Clark, Sunnyside Jo (nine from 27) has won her past two starts – both at Sandown Park over 595m in 34.00sec and 34.84sec. She’s finished either first or second in eight of her past 10 starts.

The Watchdog says Aston Salma (20 from 54) – prepared by Graeme Jose – is the “obvious danger”. She’s notched seven wins and two seconds from 10 starts jumping from the ‘pink’ trap.

It’s a fantastic fixture supported with three heats of the Glenview Cup (395m).

Last year’s G2 Ballarat Cup champ Compliance – trained by Karen Pitt – is the headline act. He was also runner-up in last year’s G1 Silver Chief and is a three-time G2 finalist.

At his most recent start, Compliance (17 from 39) finished sixth to Red Reactor in last week’s Listed Pink Diamond Champion Short Course final at Warragul. He also finished second to Paddy Wants Pats in the 2022 Listed Western Districts Derby.

Compliance (Box 2) is engaged in Heat 2 (Race 4, 7.51pm) and is priced at $2.20 by GRV’s form guru.

However, keep a close eye out for the following Glenview Cup aspirants:

Heat 1 (Race 3, 7.32pm) – Skinny Olive (10 from 16) – Box 2 and Every Four Years (12 from 24) – Box 5.

Heat 3 (Race 5, 8.15pm) – General Winston (eight from 23) – Box 7 and Simba’s Girl (11 from 27) – Box 8.

Pawnote: Finals of the Floodfawn Classic (1st – $10,000) and Glenview Cup (1st – $10,000) will be decided on Friday, June 30.

WATCH: LET’S WIN COIN (B3) ‘gets the money’ with an effortless 7.4L win at The Meadows, clocking 30.08sec, on May 27.
