Brad Williamson will be out to continue a highly successful weekend at Addington on Sunday.

The Oamaru trainer-driver enjoyed an outstanding Friday, driving two winners at Winton and training another at Addington.

Williamson has high hopes of training and driving another winner on Sunday.

Aint No Angel looks to slot into a very winnable event in race 7.

The four-year-old drops in grade after producing a solid fifth after working hard in her last outing at Addington.

Slotting into barrier 1, the mare looks to be in for a much better trip on Sunday.

“She looks pretty well placed in that race,” Williamson said.

“She has been going pretty good races against better horses, so I would like to think she would be a pretty good chance.”

“From barrier 1, hopefully she will be pretty handy – either in front or in the trail would be ideal.”

“She doesn’t have super gate speed but she gets out pretty well and she should be able to hold her own early.”

“She likes it in front, but she is also pretty good off a helmet, so we will just see how it pans out.”

“Either way, she should go a nice race.”

Williamson isn’t as confident with his stable newcomer Top Pocket Chance.

The trotter caught the attention of punters, who backed him as soon as race 6’s market opened.

But Williamson has warned those keen to follow Top Pocket Chance not to expect miracles from the trotter.

“I think the punters are a bit keener on him than I am.”

“He has settled in well, he has just had a quiet week and I am not expecting a dramatic turnaround in his form first up.”

“To be honest he doesn’t look all that well placed in that race.”

“But if he does everything right I am sure he will go a handy enough race.”

Barrier 1 in his 2000m standing start assignment looks a tricky spot for Top Pocket Chance.

The trotter isn’t known as a fast beginner and he could end up back on the markers.

Top Pocket Chance opened at $7 odds before quickly being backed into $5.

Aint No Angel opened the $1.55 favourite for race 7.
