Fasig-Tipton-Winner-Logo.jpgFORTY UNDER (c, 2, Uncle Mo–Argent Affair, by Black Tie Affair {Ire}) belied 20-1 odds when he improved dramatically going dirt sprint to turf route on the GI Travers S. undercard at Saratoga Aug. 25. Given a 4-1 chance to double up against winners, the $180,000 FTSAUG yearling saved all the ground off the pace early and ran down Smoelikeithotbrown (Big Brown) late to prevail by 3/4 of a lengths in 1:44.37. Social Paranoia (Street Boss), who was second to Forty Under in that one’s maiden breaker, checked in third–one spot ahead of favored stablemate and GIII With Anticipation S. winner Opry (Declaration of War). Forty Under is owned by NFL Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells. He is the 21st graded winner for his sire. Lifetime Record: 3-2-0-0.
