Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted August 12, 2023 Journalists Posted August 12, 2023 Veteran 7-year-old gelding Set Piece (GB) (Dansili {GB}–Portodora by Kingmambo) used his classic late speed with Florent Geroux aboard to scoop up this year's running of the GI Arlington Million at Colonial Downs. A Juddmonte homebred with loads of graded experience to his credit was last for most the race, but when it came time to roll down the lane, the Brad Cox trainee answered the call and won by 1 1/2 lengths over Santin (Distorted Humor). The final running time was 1:58.19. Lifetime Record: 29-13-2-3. O/B-Juddmonte Farms (East) Ltd(GB); T-Brad Cox.
