  1. Just out of interest. Why do you think it is "Good"?
  2. Quite frankly I can't be bothered. Everytime you negative numpties post statements like you and @Newmarket a quick check of the stats prove you wrong. Te Akau are already over $550k and 14 wins ahead of the last years premiership second place. Yet we don't see any comments about how bad that stable is doing this year.
  3. Rubbish. Prove it statistically. I doubt what you want to believe is correct.
  4. Confirmation bias again @Huey. Still dominated Karaka Millions and the KiwiB. But the track seems to suit those trained on the AWT at Camebridge.
  5. Only two that I could see. The second and fourth horses.
  6. Your bias and negativity clouds your limited analytical ability. Check the sectionals on Racing.com. To win she would have had to run under 1:07 for the last 1200m. The point i was making, which you disagree with without any analysis, is that Damask Roses run on a track that doesn't suit her style was meritable. In my opinion it indicates she is capable of winning a decent Group race in OZ. But anything Tangerine is the green of envy in your eyes! BTW since when did you speak for anyone else other than yourself?
  7. A combination of AI and spell check. It was Miss Andretti. The sectionals are all on RACING.COM.
  8. Where did I label it a "champ"? Of course that won't stop you from making crap up.
  9. I disagree she showed yesterday she is up to the top level and will pick up a Group race in Australia. The entire field draw inside her and at Caulfield in a fast run race with her style of racing that was the difference. Top run.
  10. Wrong again. 5 horses didn't break 1:22. Horses very rarely run those times at Caulfield in recent years Damask Rose was 0.4 seconds from the winner even though she ran the second fastest last 600m. A top run against a very good field. She ran her last 1200m in track record time. A track record held by Miss Andretti time. Overall the race was only 0.19 off the track record set 22 years ago by a very good horse called Exceed and Excel.
  11. More crap. Did you actually watch the race? Damask Rose ran the second fastest last 600m of the race. She actually ran that sectional faster than the winner. Even after being hampered by the second horse and losing momentum. The first 7 horses went under 1:08 for the last 1200m. At Caulfield of all places. Overall a top run for her first Grp 1 run in OZ. I suggest you and @hesi review the race again with eyes and mind open.
  12. BULLSHIT. That confirms it you have no idea about racing. Drew wide made a big run at them beaten 2.6 lengths finished 7th drew 15. They ran 1:21 but I guess you know nothing about race times either.
  13. That's not what you and Freda said at the time. I'm sure they do and congrats to them. Bonus points for having to put up with Wightman.
  14. Was a few starts back.
  15. Well you've publicly declared as far as Wightman is concerned you're a mercenary.
  16. Yes Colin Wightman aka @Transparency a wonderful human being. Abuses all and sundry with vile derogatory statements online. Slags every official and track manager in the country. Creates and promotes unfounded conspiracies defaming hard working industry people and then ducks for cover when called out. Yes an absolutey wonderful man. That's OK though because "he's on our side"! But all is forgiven or overlooked when he buys some starting gates for the local battlers. And you wonder why you are not taken seriously?
  17. Sure but without the donation you wouldn't pay him the time of day.
  18. You're becoming irrelevant @Huey.
  19. Yet Trentham "the Premier Champagne Turf" can't get this basic but essential part of modern racing correct. You could argue that NZTR should fix it buy why bail out what is potentially a sink hole for cash?
  20. Hasn't the most difficult horse in the last year down that way been one called Ears Back?
  21. Uh? 14 x 90 seconds = 21 minutes.
  22. A tomo is the rumour. But I guess it will be NZTR's fault and the usual sad sacks will bang on about it. The plus is the horse wasn't injured.
  23. @curious does Foxton or Rangiora still have Electronic timing?
  24. You miss the point.
  25. MEATLUG (A Riddell) - Blundered just prior to the winning post. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which found the gelding to have a slow recovery. Following the running of Race 5, Club Representatives, Jockeys, Stewards and the Track Manager examined the area of the track where MEATLUG had blundered which revealed a significant hole in the track. After deliberating, the decision was made by Stewards to abandon the meeting due to safety concerns. Report 2025-09-17 Taupo.pdf
