  2. $2.60 a place. I take it you didn't get any of it?
  3. Can't you courier them to her?
  4. Geez if you both keep up with the success and information I might have to make these threads Registered Members only. I have noticed an appreciable increase in "Guests" viewing.
  5. Mmm didn't anyone see Thomaas post his Rock On selection BEFORE the race? Well done to barryb and Mardigras for doing so.
  6. My apologies for replying to my own post but it might take Blueprint Tommy a wee while to comprehend. Please can someone explain how adding more high cost infrastructure with on going high maintenance and running costs is going to improve the quality of our race fields? It costs bugger all to run a place like Reefton with its passionate volunteers. In the new Palace at Cambridge there will be General Managers of Stabling, Food and Hospitality, HR, Beverages, Operations and so on and on... All the staff will be on minimum wage plus some. Reefton probably dunged out the stables and put it on his vege garden. Actually I remember dunging out out stables at the Reefton trots using the communal barrow and shovel and depositing in the central heap. Just realised I was helping a Molloy!
  7. Aren't all horses trained outside the Auckland region? Cars are cheaper in Auckland.
  8. Ok Thomaas - explain what are the causes of ALL our Group Races average ratings declining? The Manawatu Cup was no better than a benchmark R85!
  9. So you are contradicting yourself now?
  10. Once again Thomaas you don't have the intellect to understand the debate. Distorted tier stakes and a crap handicapping system (both the rules AND their application) are killing off the lifeblood of a quality racing product - The durable gelding. And you want to distort it more by having a North and South Island tier! Why don't we just get it all over and done with and centralise in the Waikato where the fat cats are gathered. Contrary to the rural myth the grass isn't actually greener or bluer in that province.
  11. Bollocks Thomaas. The cost of fuel and transport is more expensive than North. I don't think WINZ subsidises racing tack in the South. NZTR fees are the same. Vets aren't into charity in the South.
  12. You just need to place them better. An R83 horse just won a Grp3.
  13. As one niller loser to another - no I haven't received anything. Perhaps those legendary "suits" are hand delivering it. Cracks me up when another channel posts from BOAY immediately and then says WE are losers! Anyway I always take what the two little business partners say with a grain of salt. We both know they are often strangers to the truth!
  14. Tell me how does this work? You know that USA dross we get fed from first thing in the morning? Look at Laurel Park. The first 4 races were abandoned - now NZ betting. Lo and behold the first race after 8am (Race 5) is available to bet on and has FF field odds declared. For races that have win pools of not much more than $200! Excuse me but where is the efficiency there? What's the point? Wouldn't they be better focusing on the races that their market is truly interested in? What's more isn't it an unnecessary risk to run FF books on races that have extremely low liquidity? Or is it a rort?
  15. Rule Number(s): 638(3)(b)(ii)Following the running of race 1, STIHL SHOP MATAMATA, an Information was filed pursuant to Rule 638(3)(b)(ii). 16. Rule Number(s): 638(1)(d)Following the running of race 8, Noble & Lee 1600, an Information was filed pursuant to Rule 638(1)(d). 17. Yes great effort. But has Lisa over taken him today?
  18. Maybe not....but the Mesara Report has hardly given us a vision for the future has it? There is nothing in there to address the quality of the product. However there is talk of big investment in infrastructure but what use will that be if we only have low class brumbies left to race?
  19. It's alright I found it - a hidden sub-menu under the NZTR Race Info menu.
  20. Does anyone have a link to an update on the Trainer and Jockey Premiership?
  21. I might put his posts on delay then I can make the tote plummet.
  22. Weasel the problem is some consider Thomaas's punting Blue Print as "offensive" - so where does one draw the line? The irony is that those particular posts have initiated some great posts around different punting techniques. It is up to the reader to sort the Chaff from the Oats. I've rebuked Thomaas for overstepping the line with the Nazi comment. I've also deleted or hidden posts that have overstepped the BOAY rules. One of the downsides of this virtue signalling nanny state that we live in that disables free speech.
  23. I understand that the pressure of Christmas might be getting to some. Can we call a truce on the sniping please. Just a reminder Thomaas you are tolerated here unlike elsewhere so can you focus on aiming outside this tent (plenty of targets) rather than attacking individuals inside the BOAY camp. That said I consider you fair game when you start espousing your Blue Print (BP) for punting success. I'm considering putting an auto caveat on your posts that says - "BOAY takes no responsibility for readers losing money following the BP. Use at your own risk." Thomaas can you ease up on the labelling please. To qualify as a Nazi on online forums you need to a. own the forum; b. be limited in stature. Barryb doesn't qualify. As for the rest of us can we just chill a bit and have a bit of a yarn and even a laugh. The best thing you can do is ignore those that are irritants. Don't scratch the rash!!! Onwards and Upwards!!!
