Robert's gets yet another positive. 3rd I believe? Dodges all avenues. Blames the partner for 'accidentally' leaving the substance in her medicine cabinet. Obvious avenues are gone down to the extent no meat companies are guilty and AC even uses gloves to make up his dog teas -thats impressive! So how did the drug get to the dog?? Dog is reprimanded for being naughty finding drugs. AC continues to train dogs.

I was wondering if anyone could explain this? Why are two fines $350 and one $300? Same rule number and same 1.6kg weight difference on the 4th and 6th of August?

Why would it change in 2 weeks? Cole wins 8/12. Flipp grabs a couple of lower grade races. Rest scramble for a slice of pie. Can't see anything ever changing except maybe 10/12 next week? As for swabs they seem randomly selected to me? Is that not how it's meant to be?

I agree it is becoming very dark. I feel for the Central Districts trainers trying to make ends meet. Cole had 16 of their dogs placed in the top 3 out of the 27 possible top 3 placings and winning all 9 races. So that's 11 cheques left for the remainder of owners/trainers. Great for one kennel, miserable for the rest....

Has any trainer ever won all races on a card? A great feat by anyone. Still less than half the runners on the card yet managed to win them all.

Exactly! Same goes for Manawatu yesterday. It was already acknowledged the track was firm but it wasn't abandoned until a dog was hurt.
