    ATC. - RIP!!

Mick Guerin's article today states that the Auckland Trotting Club is perplexed by the small fields of late, well are they kinda thick or what its not that hard to see why.
  2. As someone that has known Mr Vince for a number of years now dont be suprised if he moves over the tasman to restart his training career, whether Miss Wigg will follow him I would have no idea. Harness in the north is dying and I dont see much stopping it from disappearing totally in the next couple of years, one only has to look at the patheticly low fields at Alex Park in recent times.
  3. Hope this is appealed and thrown in the bin where it belongs and that hrnz take their head out of the sand realises how dumb this rule is changes it and moves in to the future before its too late. Im all for bans and fines if you knowingly administer a performance enhancer. I myself use to compete in an equestrian discipline at the top level for several years, use to frequently administer water, etc to my horse via a syringe and it was perfectly legal.
  4. One of the craziest things ive ever heard being banned for not even administering a performance enhancer, if it was a performance enhancer then so be it but it wasnt. The crazy part is you could legally administer it in a feed but not in a syringe. Hardly worth a fine let alone a lengthy ban. Well i guess harness in the North apart from Cambridge will all be gone soon since the puke track will be sold and kumeu track wouldnt be far away from being sold also one would think, a sad day for nz harness isnt far away.
