  1. Well if they questioned rides there would have to be an hour between races!!!
  2. If Castles is well enough to negotiate land deals and be front and centre in all the publicity then he can answer some questions. Is there are thoroughly worked out business case that is self-sustaining and won't need propping up? A business case that includes the saving of spare revenue for future track renovations. What happens to the AWT? Don't think you can pick up that much asphalt and shift it from Cambridge.
  3. By Racing Administrators you must include Club committees too.
  4. This wouldn't be the same Butch Castles that was in charge at Hawkes Bay Racing? You know the place where they have a stuffed track? Or the same person in charge at Te Rapa where the Annie Sarten Memorial Race day was abandoned two years in a row? The same person that when in charge of Hawkes Bay was receiving an annual $18,000 consultancy fee from the Waipukurau Racing Club?
  5. How much does the Levin Racing Club pay the Otaki Maori Racing Club to use their course for Levins meetings?
  6. Is this a bit of daft programming or are there plenty of 3 yr old filles ready to run? Both the NZ 1000 Guineas Grp 1 (3yr old fillies) and the Canterbury Breeders Stakes Grp3 (fillies and mares) are run on the same day! The first day of Cup week - 8 November.
  7. Perhaps a message to MPI might be in order.
  8. A long time between drinks.
  9. Does anyone know what Sought After is up to? Was touted by some as being the next champ.
  10. What is mind blowing is at 1,500 dogs it will cost $27,000 EACH to rehome them. Who is clipping that ticket?
  11. BETFAIR is a betting exchange of course it is ALWAYS live and in play!!! Good luck if no one wants to match your bet. Mind you a few mugs would probably line up to offer you value.
  12. I see Sam Sherwood wrote the article. He is a bit of an animal protection activist.
  13. Don't worry they'll be hiding in the hedges watching him only being able to watch what's happening.
  14. He does it all the time. A bit short on imagination.
  15. Well dont all paths lead to Ellerslie now? Except in the winter on the "best winter track in NZ"?
