Fownes seeks to maintain impetus with Dancing Code
Wandering Eyes posted a topic in BOAY Racing News
Dancing Code charges to victory at Happy Valley on September 20. Caspar Fownes hopes to build on impressive early-season momentum when Dancing Code lines up at Sha Tin on Sunday when the impressive last-start winner faces the sternest test of a blossoming career. A dual winner over 1200m at Happy Valley, Dancing Code graduates in class and distance against quality opposition as four-time Hong Kong champion trainer Fownes bids to add to his tally this season of 10 wins and 13 minor placings from 64 runners. “Dancing Code is a nice horse, I think he’s going to appreciate the step up to 1400m at Sha Tin now. He’s done well for us in the handful of starts that he’s had and obviously now we’re up in class and when you get to Class 2 in Hong Kong, it’s pretty serious,” Fownes said. “You’ve got horses like The Golden Scenery, Find My Love and Supreme Lucky – all nice, up and coming horses that are in good, current form – but so is my guy. He presents well and the step up with extra furlong, he’ll eat that up. “He’s the type of horse who could probably get up to a mile, but this is a nice race to step him up into and we’re going to see if he can handle the class rise and if he does, we’re going to have a bit of fun with him. He’s really well and he looks a treat. Obviously, it’s going to be tough to win that type of race but we’ll certainly be there doing our best.” Dancing Code (123lb) will start from barrier eight under Vincent Ho in a HK$2,840,000 contest headed by Keefy (135lb), The Golden Scenery (134lb) and Sauvestre (131lb). Sitting second in the 2023/24 trainers’ championship behind Francis Lui (11 wins), Fownes is satisfied with his stable’s start to the campaign. “It’s going good. We planned for a good start and to try to have a big season all the way through, so hopefully we can continue to do that,” he said. “It’s tough over here in Hong Kong with the handicap system but the horses are looking well and racing well and long may it continue.” Having reached the 400-win milestone in Hong Kong at Happy Valley on Wednesday night, Frankie Lor will oppose Fownes’ Dancing Code with Keefy, Sauvestre and Eason (127lb) in Sunday’s turf feature. The 2021/2022 Hong Kong champion trainer is also optimistic Youthful Deal can reprise his best form under Ho. With four wins and two minor placings over the course and distance, Lor hopes the 90-rater can improve significantly after two unplaced runs on turf. “I try also with him on the turf, but he likes the dirt better. He’s trialled good,” Lor said of the Deep Field gelding. “Vincent knows the horse well and he’s worked really well lately and hopefully we get a good result on Sunday.” Lor will also saddle Happy Together for Alexis Badel, having scored with Richard Gibson’s former charge on September 24. “I think he’s got potential. He won his first start for me and I was really happy,” Lor said. “This time, he needs to carry a big weight (135lb), but Alexis knows what to do. He’s been working well.” Champion sprinter Lucky Sweynesse took another important step towards the Group 2 Premier Bowl Handicap (1200m) at Sha Tin on October 22 with a 1200m trial victory under regular rider Zac Purton. Beaten by Victor The Winner when resuming on September 10, Manfred Man’s three-time Group 1 victor had two lengths to spare at the line over stablemate Encountered, clocking 1:11.44s. “His action is getting better, he’s getting a bit cleaner in the wind. His body is starting to look better. He was very fresh in the gates, which we know he can be, he jumped out nicely and travelled nicely and did what he had to do,” Purton said. Purton also partnered Beauty Eternal in a winning trial over 1200m as John Size’s rising star readies for the Group 2 Sha Tin Trophy Handicap (1600m) at Sha Tin on October 15. “He was a bit fresh in the gates as well. He got out, travelled nicely. The track was a little bit deep this morning and he prefers hard and fast but he travelled around nicely and although he didn’t change his lead legs in the straight, which is unusual for him, he still ran through the line nicely and had a good blow when pulled up,” Purton said after the dual Group 3 winner clocked 1:11.19s. “He’ll improve a lot from that trial and he’ll improve even more after he races heading towards hopefully December.” More horse racing news View the full article -

Nyquist capped an undefeated 2-year-old season with a win in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile, then added the GI Kentucky Derby the next spring, becoming just the second colt to complete the Juvenile-Derby double. His fellow Darley stallion, Street Sense, was the first. Nyquist got his sire career off to a bang with his first crop including a Breeders' Cup winner of his own in 2020 Juvenile Fillies star Vequist. “From his first season in 2017 until now, hands down the most fertile horse I've ever worked with anywhere in the world,” said Graham Lovatt, who has worked at Darley stallion divisions in England and Australia and is now the stallion manager at Darley in the U.S. “Very professional in his second career. And excellent showman. We installed a new aqua tread and he absolutely loves it. He is a very observant horse and he'll always let you know when there is something out of place.” Nyquist (2013 bay horse, Uncle Mo–Seeking Gabrielle, by Forestry) Lifetime record: Ch. 2yo colt, MGISW, 11-8-0-1, $5,189,200 Breeders' Cup connections: B-Summerhill Farm (KY); O-Reddam Racing LLC; T-Doug O'Neill; J-Mario Gutierrez. Two veterinarians have been provisionally suspended by the Horseracing Integrity and Welfare Unit (HIWU) for possession of bisphosphonates, the controversial drug for treatment of bone degeneration issues that has long bedeviled horse racing regulators due to its ability to stay in the system for years, and it's propensity to potentially weaken bones if misused. It is understood these are the first such actions HIWU has taken for possession of bisphosphonates. No post-race or out-of-competition samples have as yet returned positive for bisphosphonates, according to the HIWU rulings web-page. HIWU is the drug enforcement arm of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Act (HISA). In an action dated Sept. 28, the two veterinarians, Scott Shell and Barbara Hippie, have been accused of violating HISA Rule 3214(a), possession of banned substances. Formal hearings on the accusations are pending. Aside from bisphosphonates, Shell is accused of possessing two other banned substances. One is Gamma Aminobutyric Acid (GABA), an amino acid that can be used as a calming agent. The other is the vasodilator Isoxsuprine, which can be used to treat laminitis and navicular disease. Hippie is also accused of possessing Sarapin, a pitcher plant extract that can be used in pain relief, Isoxsuprine, and Levothyroxine, a thyroid treatment. All three are banned at all times under HISA. The TDN emailed both Shell and Hippie Friday afternoon for comment. The story will be updated as necessary. An online search suggests the veterinarians are Ohio-based. The TDN also contacted HIWU for further details of the complaint. Spokesperson Alexa Ravit wrote in response that the organization is unable to provide any further information regarding the alleged violations beyond what is listed on the website. Ravit confirmed, however, that the violations were the result of each individual being in possession of the listed banned substances on Sept. 28. “Possession charges may result from searches of locations such as barns, offices, and veterinary trucks,” she wrote. With brand names like Tildren and Osphos, bisphosphonates are used in older horses to tackle issues like navicular disease. They have also historically been used off-label to treat issues like sore shins in younger horses. A problematic feature of bisphosphonates is that they can remain in a horse's system for many years after administration, making this a potentially tricky drug to track as horses pass through multiple hands. Further complicating matters is how a horse administered a bisphosphonate won't necessarily test positive for the drug consistently over time. Considering the severity of the sanctions for a banned substance positive finding, the slippery issue of bisphosphonates has made many industry stakeholders jittery. Under HISA's rules, any “Covered Horse” proven to have been administered bisphosphonates will be subject to lifetime ineligibility, and the responsible individual could incur an anti-doping violation sanction. Prior to HISA's anti-doping and medication control program (ADMC) going into effect earlier this year, HIWU chief of science, Mary Scollay, warned stakeholders to be vigilant about purchasing horses from aboard especially. “As a condition of sale, I would have the seller attest that the horse has never been treated [with a bisphosphonate] so you have got the ability to turn that horse back and get your money back,” Scollay told an assembled crowd of stakeholders at Santa Anita in March. “It's a civil legal situation, but I think there are ways to protect yourself if needs be.” Horses already in the racing pipeline may have been administered bisphosphonates in the past without their current connections' knowledge. With that in mind, one stakeholder asked Scollay if HISA's investigative body has the authority to go back over the horse's full medical history, in the event of a positive bisphosphonate test. Though a young racehorse remains beyond HISA's legal purview until the time of its first official workout, HISA does have subpoena authority, explained Scollay. Ultimately though, as the HISA law is written, the burden of responsibility, she stressed, is placed on the trainer and owners' shoulders. A Graded Stakes Saturday We Never Want To End
Wandering Eyes posted a topic in The Rest of the World
The parade of graded stakes races this Saturday is like a Christmas tree laden with presents. Towards the end of the celebration, as the wadded paper congregates, there will be a customary wistfulness that slowly sets in. We never want it to end. With 17, yes 17, graded races on the docket–nine of those have Breeders' Cup 'Win and You're In' status–it is going to be a splendid day to receive as Belmont at the Big A, Keeneland Race Course, Woodbine Racetrack, Gulfstream Park, Hastings Racecourse and Santa Anita Park hustle to apply the Scotch tape. Cue the carols, please. Heading to the venerable Big A in Ozone Park, the graded menu expanded when last weekend's GI Joe Hirsch Turf Classic S. was added to Saturday's slate. The 12-furlong grass test includes the reigning GI Breeders' Cup Turf winner Rebel's Romance (Dubawi {Ire}) who looking for some New York redemption after unseating his rider around the far turn in the late-July running of the GII Bowling Green S. at Saratoga. The Charlie Appleby trainee is set to face the queen of the blades in MGISW War Like Goddess (English Channel), who still has plenty of fight in her as she faces the boys again for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott. If one Grade I wasn't enough for you on this card, then we are going to add two more just for good measure. The GI Frizette S. is a passageway to the GI Breeders' Cup NetJets Juvenile Fillies and Repole Stable has the 9-5 morning-line favorite in Life Talk (Gun Runner), who broke her maiden at second asking Aug. 31 at Saratoga by 6 1/2 lengths. The Todd Pletcher trainee will have to contend with Stonestreet's Emery (More Than Ready), who scratched out of Friday's GI Darley Alcibiades S. at Keeneland to run here for trainer Brad Cox. Also present is Godolphin homebred Central Avenue (Street Sense), who debuted a winner at Colonial Downs, and will try to stretch out for trainer Michael Stidam. “She [Central Avenue] started going seven-eighths and we thought that might be a little short for her, but she got up anyways,” Stidham said. “She always looked in the mornings like she would come running late and she would [run like that]. The mile is going to be even more helpful for her style.” The other top race of the day at 'Belmont West' is the GI Champagne S., which offers a ticket straight to the GI Breeders' Cup FanDuel Juvenile. Once again, Repole Stable held David Aragona's attention with 6-5 morning-line favorite Fierceness (City of Light). The 'TDN Rising Star' had his own way in the Saratoga mud Aug. 25 when the bay colt won that debut by 11 1/4 lengths. His main rival could be fellow 'TDN Rising Star' Timberlake (Into Mischief), who is also entered in the GI Claiborne Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland. Rounding out the action at Aqueduct is a trio of Grade III turf events which include the Waya S. with GISW McKulick (GB) (Frankel {GB}), the Belmont Turf Sprint with GSW Big Invasion (Declaration of War) and finally, English import Measured Time (Frankel {GB}) is up against GISP Webslinger (Constitution) in the Jockey Club Derby Invitational. Locked | Sarah Andrew The Keeneland Association which just kicked off its October meet on Friday, has its own take on Christmas come early. Taking to the Haggin Turf Course, the GI First Lady S. for older females sports a rematch of the July running of the GI Diana S. between Whitebeam (GB) (Caravaggio) and MGISW In Italian (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}). The former bested the latter at Saratoga and the Chad Brown stablesmates are set to do battle again. Not to be overlooked is the Joseph O'Brien trainee Jumbly (GB) (Gleneagles {Ire}) who returns to the U.S. after finishing fifth in the G1 Matron S. at Leopardstown Sept. 9. Moving right along to some more Grade I festivities, the Claiborne Breeders' Futurity offers the winner a shot in the GI Breeders' Cup FanDuel Juvenile. 'TDN Rising Star' Locked (Gun Runner) won at second asking by 7 1/4 lengths at Saratoga Sept. 1 with a 96 Beyer Speed Figure. The Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Walmac Farm-owned chestnut colt for trainer Todd Pletcher will take on New York-bred undefeated hero The Wine Steward (Vino Rosso) for trainer Mike Maker and possibly the aforementioned Timberlake. “He [Locked] was impressive the time he went two turns at Saratoga,” said Pletcher. “One reason he came here and Fierceness stayed in New York for the Champagne is that I thought the Champagne suited him better with the one start. It worked well that we could find a Grade I for both of them.” The capstone to Keeneland's Super Saturday is the GI Coolmore Turf Mile, which allows access to the GI Breeders' Cup FanDuel Mile. Fresh off his 3 3/4-length first North American score in the GI Woodbine Mile, Master of The Seas (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) will challenge Up to the Mark (Not This Time), who was last seen winning GI Manhattan S. at Belmont. Lane's End recently announced that the 4-year-old colt trained by Todd Pletcher would head their way for stud duty at the conclusion of his racing career. A pair of Grade II races will complete the Keeneland Saturday graded offering. First, the Woodford S. welcomes turf sprint specialist and G1 Nuthorpe S. at York victor Live In The Dream (Ire) (Prince of Lir {Ire}) from the yard of Adam West. Meanwhile, MGSW and MGISP Wicked Halo (Gun Runner) tries to secure her spot in the GI Breeders' Cup PNC Bank Filly & Mare Sprint when she sets sail against six others in the Thoroughbred Club of America S. Before heading west, both Gulfstream Park and Woodbine Racetrack card a graded race each. GSP Maryquitecontrary (First Dude) switches from Shug McGaughey's barn to David Fawkes, as she returns to her home track in the GIII Princess Rooney S, a race which also feeds into the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint. Up at Woodbine, the GIII Durham Cup S. finds G1 Dubai World Cup runner-up Algiers (Ire) (Shamardal {Ire}) making his first start in North America after trainer Simon Crisford scratched him from the GII Woodward S. last weekend. Staying put in Canada, Hastings Racecourse cards the GIII BC Premier's H. for 3-year-olds and up. The race includes Accidental Hero (Mo Town), who bested his rival Sunbird (Orb) in the GIII BC Derby last month. Anisette | Benoit It would not be a graded Saturday without 'The Great RIP' and Santa Anita Park has its share. Of course, the GI American Pharoah S., which TDN covered in a special edition on Friday, is a 'Win and You're In' event for the GI Breeders' Cup FanDuel Juvenile S. 'TDN Rising Star' Muth (Good Magic) will square off against seven others in the feature, which includes stablemate Wine Me Up (Vino Rosso). Speaking of juveniles, the fillies get their chance to shine in the GII Chandelier S. On the line is the opportunity to make the starting gate in the GI Breeders' Cup NetJets Juvenile Fillies. One of the top contenders is Laurent (Practical Joke). The Peter Eurton trainee was second Sept. 9 in the GI Del Mar Debutante S. The dark bay filly is in the blocks right next to the Zedan Racing's Dua (Arrogate). The Bob Baffert trainee was third in the GIII Sorrento S. at Del Mar Aug. 12. In the race before the American Pharoah S., turf routers will load at the mouth of the downhill course for the GII Rodeo Drive S. Looking for a chance to return for the Breeders' Cup Maker's Mark Filly & Mare Turf is the undefeated Anisette (GB) (Awtaad {Ire}). The 3-year-old will take on older females for the first time. After coming over from England last spring, the Leonard Powell trainee won three in a row, including the GI Del Mar Oaks by 2 3/4 lengths. Anisette is going to have to try and get past the 9-5 morning-line favorite Didia (Arg) (Orpen) though. She was the runner-up in the GI New York S. at Belmont Park June 9 and has a history of winning from off the bench for trainer Ignacio Correas. Add in some seasoned Southern California stayers like MGSW Closing Remarks (Vronsky) and MGSW Neige Blache (FR) (Anodin {Ire}), and the Rodeo Drive is going to be quite the shopping spree at the windows. Here's to a Saturday of graded racing that never ends. Candied (f, 2, Candy Ride {Arg}–Toni Tools, by Roaring Fever), a 3/4-length, come-from-behind debut winner sprinting at Saratoga Aug. 20, stayed perfect while stretching to two turns in Friday's 'Win and You're In' GI Darley Alcibiades at Keeneland. The 4-1 chance raced in between horses rounding the clubhouse turn in fifth. She advanced into fourth approaching the quarter pole, made a flashy, sweeping move at the top of the stretch, and, despite hanging on her left lead down the stretch, went on to defeat favored runaway GIII Pocahontas S. heroine V V's Dream (Mitole) by a length. The GII Stoll Keenon Odgen Phoenix S., the oldest stakes race in North America, was won Friday afternoon at Keeneland by Hoist the Gold (Mineshaft–Tacit Approval, by Tapit). The victory earned him a ticket to the GI Breeders' Cup Qatar Racing Sprint. Riding the rail at odds of 6-1, the 4-year-old colt backed off along the backstretch as Sibelius (Not This Time) and Doctor Oscar (Shackleford) battled for the lead. Fanning wide around the far turn, the Dallas Stewart trainee took over past the eighth pole and spurning a drive from favorite Bango (Congrats) and Nakatomi (Firing Line), the homebred held off his pursuers to get the win. In this series, the TDN takes a look at notable successes of European-based sires in North America. This week's column is highlighted by the victory of Hong Kong Harry at Santa Anita last week. Hong Kong Harry Returns A Winner In City Of Hope Prolific graded winner Hong Kong Harry (Ire) (Es Que Love {Ire}) returned to winning ways in Santa Anita's GII City of Hope Mile S. for trainer Phil D'Amato and owners Scott Anastasi, Jimmy Ukegawa and Tony Valazza at the end of September (video). It was his fourth win at the graded level since being transferred to the U.S. in March of 2022. Bred by Amarath Business Management out of the multiple stakes-placed Vital Body (Fr) (Gold Away {Ire}), the 6-year-old gelding won multiple handicaps in the UK, and was a £185,000 Goffs London Sale buy-back during his time with owner/trainer Richard Fahey in 2021. When he was reoffered by the trainer later that year at the 2021 Tattersalls Autumn Horses-in-Training Sale, he made 85,000gns from Craig Rounsefell's Boomer Bloodstock. Vital Body has also thrown the stakes-placed Body Sculpt (Fr) to the cover of Kendargent (Fr) and her latest is a weanling filly by Starman (GB). This is the same clan as G2 Prix du Gros-Chene hero Pradaro (Fr) (Penny's Picnic {Ire}) and Australian Group 1 winner Offer (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}). One of just 80 foals for his sire who was last reported to be standing in France, Hong Kong Harry is his only graded winner and one of two stakes winners besides listed winner Que Amoro (Ire). She is a half-sister to a pair of winners and is the last reported foal of her German listed-winning dam, the Oasis Dream (GB) mare Goiania (GB). Goiania is a half-sister to two stakes winners, the trio all produced by German Group 3 heroine Goathemala (Ger) (Black Sam Bellamy {Ire}). A staff report from the Association of Racing Commissioners International (ARCI) was issued today providing “data and a programmatic analysis HISA Programs after its first year,” with the conclusion that HISA has done little to deter the doping of racehorses or effect the catastrophic breakdown rate, according to a press release from the ARCI. HISA responded to the report, saying it was “riddled with factual inaccuracies and mischaracterizations.” ARCI claims that after one year of being responsible for equine and racetrack safety in thoroughbred racing and six months responsibility for anti-doping and medication control, that HISA's “biggest success lies in common rules and drug testing.” Moreover, they claim, “HISA/HIWU Testing Labs have not found any new drugs that had not been found under the previous state based programs,” and “based on HIWU statements as to the extent of testing and HIWU website postings, it appears the rate of adverse analytical findings triggering regulatory review or action is roughly the same as the previous state-based program.” The ARCI went so far as to say that, “the equine fatality rate remains small and results are mixed as to whether HISA has had any effect, either way.” “HISA has just been made aware of the Association of Racing Commissioner International (ARCI) report released publicly today,” said a HISA spokesperson. “The report is riddled with factual inaccuracies and mischaracterizations as evidenced by data and information that is publicly available on the HIWU website. HISA remains focused on enforcing and improving upon its Racetrack Safety and Anti-Doping and Medication Control Programs to advance safety and integrity in the sport.” ARCI said that the prepared the report in anticipation of being asked for it by state racing commissions. They also said that “HISA receives considerable help from State Racing Commissions who are expected to provide almost $18 million in funding or services in the coming year, and that “HISA's almost $81 million proposed budget for next year relies on the thoroughbred racing industry paying almost $60 million in assessments.” The post ARCI Questions HISA’s Effectiveness in New Report; HISA Claims Report `Factually Inaccurate’ appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions. A trio of Breeders' Cup-bound horses trained by Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen had their first works at Santa Anita Friday. Drilling easy half miles under the watchful eye of assistant Scott Blasi were Echo Zulu (Gun Runner), who went the distance in 50.80 seconds and Society (Gun Runner), who completed her move in 50.20 seconds. Also working for Asmussen was Private Creed (Jimmy Creed), who was officially clocked going three furlongs in 37.40 seconds. “This was their first work on the racetrack so we didn't want to do a whole lot,” Blasi said. “It was just a maintenance breeze to get them used to the surface.” Echo Zulu, the champion 2-year-old filly of 2021, is a perfect 3-for-3 this campaign including a win in the GI Ballerina S. most recently Aug. 26 at Saratoga. She is being pointed to either the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint going six furlongs against males or the GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint at seven furlongs. Both races are slated for Nov. 4 at Santa Anita. Society is headed to the GI Breeders' Cup Distaff at 1 1/8 miles the same day at Santa Anita. Private Creed is targeting the five-furlong GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint Nov. 4. Asmussen and Blasi plan to work two more Breeders' Cup hopefuls on Saturday at Santa Anita: Clairiere (Curlin), who will also go in the Distaff; and Gunite (Gun Runner), who is possible for either the Sprint or Dirt Mile, both also Nov. 4. In other Breeders' Cup news, top-rated Classic contender Arcangelo (Arrogate) walked the shedrow and appeared to be doing well the morning after having his first work at Santa Anita. On Thursday, the Belmont and Travers winner drilled five furlongs in 1:02.20 for trainer Jena Antonucci. Multiple Group 1 winner Blue Rose Cen (Ire) (Churchill {Ire}), who won the G1 Prix de l'Opera and booked her ticket to the GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf as a result, will skip that engagement and is being freshened prior to being prepared for a 4-year-old campaign, Jour de Galop reported on Friday. The Yeguada Centurion homebred is trained by Christopher Head. In 2022, she won the G1 Prix Marcel Boussac, and then completed a rare triple when adding the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and G1 Prix de Diane. After two unplaced runs at the highest level, she won the Opera by a neck and is currently on break at Haras de l'Hotellerie according to Head. “Blue Rose Cen achieved a magnificent season,” he told the JDG. “You have to know how to respect the horses and, moreover, she will be seen again on the track as a 4-year-old. She went to take a month-and-a-half vacation, with the idea that it would be profitable for next year. “We had thought about running in the Breeders' Cup last year and we skipped it because she had walked on a rock. Finally, when we see what she achieved this year, it was perhaps a blessing in disguise. We do not have a set programme for next year for her.” The post Blue Rose Cen Will Skip The Breeders’ Cup In Favour Of A Winter Break Before A 2024 Campaign appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions. TWO ITEM SAVER (f, 3, Super Saver–Two Item Limit {MGSW & MGISP, $1,060,585}, by Twining) debuted in 2022 in the same Churchill Downs maiden which yielded GSW Hoosier Philly (Into Mischief) and SP Baby Got Backspin (Kantharos), finishing fourth for Dallas Stewart before being put on the bench until August of this year. Now in the barn of Ignacio Correas, she graduated from the maiden ranks in the Colonial dash last out at second asking and shipped to Keeneland for this contest, scratch down to a party of four, leaving the blocks as the 3-2 second choice. Never in any hurry as the caboose in the short field, she picked up her stride after splitting runners from the three path and was closing fast passing the five sixteenths marker. Driving clear despite hanging on the wrong lead, she caught her second wind when swapping to the right one and was 13 1/2 lengths ahead of Yes Day (Classic Empire) on the wire. Hailing from a deep and international female family which includes the likes of Arena Elvira (Ghostzapper), MGSW, $497,396, herself dam of SP Americana (Tapit); and the dam of SW Electo Red (Master Command) and an ever-growing list of winners, Two Item Saver is the most recent, and last registered, successful addition to this collective.
