I know this has been done to death before but so sad to see this once iconic race at the level it is now at. I remember going to Ellerslie as a young fella and having to climb to the top of the old open top public stand to find a place to see the race. Packed to the rafters in those days. Two horses that stick in mind - Silver Wraith because he was just brilliant that day and Our Shah because I backed him and made a bit!! Happy days...

I was so impressed with her first start so she clearly has ability. All the best with Consensus - enjoy the day - I thought she was very brave last start after Flindell wrote her off before the turn. Firmer track should suit as well.

Don't know how she'll handle the slow track but I have a small share in Super Girl at Waverley today. She went a terrific race 1st up and then had a virus which explained the poor second race. Fingers and toes crossed.
