I'm waiting for the days they schedule twilight meetings in the dead of winter.

Forbury have lights but have got the odd day meeting as well,seems they got a lot of those winter meetings,that will get the crowds flocking out to the course lol

No harness racing between Oamaru and Winton,hard to believe really,seems a bit to unrealistic.

So if the codes are in charge then why is harness racing selling itself short here.

It would rude if Forbury was sold and the assets went to the galloping code,that would prove that the harness guys have been taken for a ride.Idoubt that would happen.

I will say that change is good if it's for the better,but some of the ideas floated are simply not.

I think Mr Mesara stated that Ascot Park need to build a new grandstand.Maybe they can move the one from Rugby Park there,its never much use these days,a lot of ideas and decisions being made by people that it has no effect on,as long as I'm alright who cares,that's the attatude.

Personally I wouldn't even worry about these arseholes if they think that the dates are set as they set them,easy enough to change if push comes to shove.

So you see if all the harness guys in southland shift to winton and wyndham what are they gunna do? Show some fucking balls I'd say.

If all the harness guys are on board what can they do ,you know the saying United we stand.

In the early eighties the trot club raced at Winton as a dispute with gallop club over fees ,nothing stopping them doing it again.The gallop track has a long history of problems,add that the home straight is only 200 meters gee greyhounds home straight almost beats that.

Maybe that's why they want all the races at ascot park,give all the funds to gallop club,the harness guys can pull the pin from invers if they want,they've done it before in the past.

Nothing makes sense.it seems the heads of hrnz need to be cut,they ain't working for harness racing,why race at gallop track in town and give all money to another code,in the invercargill setup.

I will stress that they ain't getting nought from me at present either,I still watch the odd race but for now it's a betting no no.

The way they threw one or two leading commentators on the scrapheap was very poor.

I'm not watching it much either,I can tolerate aussie racing,and the trots from there as well as New Zealand stuff we should patronize our own stuff,even if the gallops aren't in the same league as oz,but as for that greyhound shit being poked in every gap,that's shit.

Saturday night around 8 o clock.im not sure who the presenter is by name ,he's a regular ,pretty hard going really sitting through all the wall to wall stuff,not hard to see why O Connor lost interest,it must be hard after being on course to be housed in a studio,sad but true.
