She was as always, brilliant at the end. I liked the run of Ventura Storm from a Cup perspective. Raced like a stayer with still a turn of foot and on the cusp of making the field.

It's not so easy for her in Melbourne without the other Waller runners setting up the pace and not getting in her way, that said she was good enough to overcome it despite a not so good ride.

Perfectly ridden I thought. There isn't a horse in that race against her that can accelerate that fast. Waited for the gap, all over

She ran her last 800m 7 seconds faster than her first!  Went quicker than 11 seconds for her last 200m.

To put some context around the speed shape in The Turnbull... Winx ran first 800m in 50.82s / last 800m in 43.98s. That's a 41 length difference! Her last 600m 32.21s and last 200m an unbelievable 10.87s. Lack of speed and her position made it impossible for her to be dominant.
