Weasel
8 horse field ,she's drawn 6, tight turning track...the others won't be giving her any favours ('cept mebbe the stablemate!) I'm asking: what will Hughie do from there? 3rd or 4th with cover...? if he gets posted 3 wide, what chance she will go to the front and control the race, out of all possible trouble, and leave 'em gasping long before the final turn on that saucer of a track? Thoughts, BOAYERS???
Rowley Mile
I've had horses lead all the way at the 'old' Valley, and come from behind, it's not beyond a horse to sit wide and win there, the secret though is to have cover and not get caught on the fence when they go at the school, if the Poms go hard early it will be interesting, but if it's a sit and sprint I can't see them giving her a start and a beating.
Weasel
I think their only chance is to lock her away on the fence somehow, but Bowman is too smart for that and she's drawn out anyway. Agree that a strong tempo from the outset can help them, but she runs such fast sectionals ... mebbe their only chance is for her to miss the jump by 3L and/or Huey to fall off, god forbid! Only two more sleeps!!
aquaman
Huey will drop her out last, then come around them at some stage. He will not be near the fence. I can see him sitting midfield at the 800 mark on the outside. I think the pace will be on from the getgo, if not Huey will loop the field at an opportune time and control the race.
