Newmarket
What are the rules regarding horses galloping when racing? First race today, Blair’s horse gallops before passing lane. Instead of pulling to the inside of pylons he steered off the fence inconveniencing those racing on the outside? Maybe looking after his mate John Dunn who was behind on the hot fav? Hopefully stewards ask the question….
Gammalite
Reckon Blair was just trying to drive with horse straight while galloping to not interfere with anyone. John Dunn did smile at his own good fortune though 😁. Isn't it Tim Williams his main driver mate anyway? The 2nd race was funny with the $1.60 favourite from the pole, not able to come out of the mobile at all well... for Ben Hope and ended up 5 back the fence . Never much chance from there. Ricky May couldn't be bothered waiting and 'carting it up' late in the race either, while driving on the HOPE team stable-mate and ran on well himself for 2nd place. Sam Ottley too good these days though . always great to back her on the grass.

If that was the case, the trailing horse would have been held up or interfered with, and clearly that didn’t happen. I do agree with Dunn smiling thou…. With a big thanks mate…
