A Scratching Creating A Less Overfull Field

It's been brought to my attention that there has been another scratching at GRNZ.

I've checked on TradeMe, but have been unable to find where they may have listed a slightly used desk for pick-up in Petone.

Will the scratching be filled by one of the reserve desks? I doubt it, as the position was invented for the person, not the actual needs of GRNZ.

Where's our National Racing Woman of the Year?

Liz was and will probably continue to be a good advocate for greyhound racing.

I don't now and have never had an issue with Liz.

I did have an issue with GRNZ, for inventing a COO job position just for her & then never bothering to even ask for application for the new position.

Was Liz the best person for the position?

We'll will ever know because no-one was ever given the chance to claim they might be qualified & ready to get stuck in, before she magically turns up & had the job handed to her.

Good luck for your future endeavours Liz Whelan.

You might be happy with a post of mine (for once) Chief.

I've heard that Liz has some sort of a disagreement/blow out with Mr. Dore & decided to move on.

I'm told she has taken up a position with Entain, but I have been unable to verify it thus far.

I really don't care that much about unsubstantiated gossip.  What I will say is that I have had conversations with both Liz and Dore - ironically initiated a long time ago because of you.  However putting that to one side.  I have found them both to be very professional and accurate.

If Liz has signed up to ENTAIN then she'd be a lot better than Guy Heveldt.  A highly qualified woman before joining the racing industry and trained up by one of the best.  Liz loves the sport and has a great knowledge about it.  Not bad looking either.
