WIth the forecast I'd say they'll be putting at least 25mm of irrigation on later in the week.  Shame they can't irrigate raceday morning.

Hopefully the reservoir is full and they don't have to put high cost Waikato water on it!  There is a limit to how far you can spill Lion Red.

Have they changed the rules for Ellerslie?  According the Track Curator they started irrigating at 8pm last night and didn't finish until 6:30 am this morning - RACEDAY!!

Seems the only way they can keep it soft is by mechanical means!  13mm tynes used on the aerator!
