Basil
Surprised nobody's mentioned this. Anger over greyhound racing as 353 dogs euthanised this year | Stuff.co.nz.html
Happy Sunrise
One should take note they don't come for harness racing unless the code gives them the opportunity. Eg metal lined whips.
Guest CrossCodes
Funny how no one ever mentions the huge amount of horses sent off to the knackers yard every year, maybe because they aren’t tracked and/or recorded so nobody really knows. Think they turn a blind eye on that one, not to mention the copious amounts of 1080 they drop, which apparently doesn't kills birds, but no problems with possums, pets and even maybe a few cows, by means of a cruel agonizing slow death. All a bit hypocritical for me.

All a bit hypocritical for me. Agree with the general sentiment, but if by 'they' you mean SAFE, that's not quite right — they're explicitly opposed to both 1080 and racehorse 'redundancy'.
