No reports of an inspection, no hint of jockeys not prepared to continue and I'm not sure you can say it slipped wheh they never showed a head-on view. It was racing on the inside of runners and may have simply been checked or faltered so I think your initial assessment is a long way off the mark. The nearest horse was 2 1/2 lengths in front of her.
Blind Squirrel
Was it not possible the two immediately outside her moved in and squeezed her - to which she over-reacted??
curious
Didn't appear so and she was well up with the next horse. Could be though. As you say, hard to tell without the front on. Injury maybe? Edited December 16, 2018 by curious

WTF, mate seriously I posted it 1 min after the race FFS. Are you some sort of appologist for NZ Racing or something.
FeelTheFear
SO WICKED (J Waddell) – Slow away. Placed in restricted room 800 metres and reacted poorly losing ground. Eased down by its rider in the final straight with J Waddell reporting that the mare had made abnormal noises. A post-race veterinary examination could find no obvious abnormalities. Lost the left hind plate during the running.

Just some alarmist nonsense - seriously No apologist just don't see any point in casting aspersions for no reason as some form of "one upmasnship, I told you first blah blah garbage which seems to be a familar theme for a number of posters on this site.

I wouldn't worry too much though.. ...your ass has been exposed plenty of times on here this year for you not to feel embarrassed or contrite anymore ... I can feel your NY resolution being solidified even further
