Just adds to the 'woeful' lack of professionalism in such a critical part of the industry. As an aside are you connected to the Auckland cup winner? (1982..I think) Got me out of a huge hole as an over confident young man.

Whats the bet that none of this equipment has been audited or anything probably since jesus was a carpenter.

and they probably don’t have a proper back up system.

remember seeing on racing.com one day a story on it and they would always use two cameras regardless

Wow.  How bad is that?  Thomass wasn't happy and now he won't be the only one.

How can licence holders be told they must be professional and then we see these double standards where, to the public it looks all rosy with big stakes etc, yet we have non-existent cameras, patchy track watering as shown to the world via drone, boxes that can't be shut, broken clips and chains on tie up stalls, not enough tie up stalls and nowhere to walk your horse or give it a pee before running?

Wingman uses the word fundamental which is apt, and lacking.

Chief, call me negative and a moaner if you like but, I don't understand why these matters occur and are accepted and expected.

There is a new position advertised for NZTR...Racing Coordinator i think it was turned...yet more Empire building, money down the drain for more unnecessary salaries.

And the Hurunui picnic raceday yesterday in North Canterbury went ahead with huge support, great success and not a fkwt from  head office in sight.

It’s hust a bureau job…taking noms, fields etc nothing special

Yes, key role in the NRB. One area of NZTR that seems to have pretty much always operated efficiently and effectively. Hopefully, they can find the right person for the job.
