Overit
Seems the talk last week at the track Cole has not payed the fine for the 8 missing dogs. If this is to be correct some one has dropped the ball is it GRNZ or the RIB. Who is responsible for allowing this and is there no rules in place for unpaid fines
Chief Stipe
The whole case was a bit of a stitch up was it not? 8 dogs out of hundreds over how many years? Incurring a $10k fine. The irony being that the hearing was heard the same month as Winston Peters told the Greyhound industry that they were out of buskness The reality is there are a lot of good racing dogs that are going to be put down and or a lot of money being paid to people to take the dogs and picked up by unscrupulous people. In light of the circumstances one section of the decision is particularly amusing given the so called "social license" has already been crossed out legislatively. 34. Mr Dow emphasises that breaches of this nature threaten the greyhound racing industry’s social licence and sustainability, requiring penalties that deter similar conduct and uphold public confidence.

Overit
Irrelevant to just over a year left in the code I have been slightly postive till now until I heard this. If the industries board or bosses have allowed this, this could be why they in the sitution they in who knows or if the RIB are responsible they both should be removed from any further decisions. I don't feel that I are fixated at all. I have nothing do with the closure of this industry that I was once proud to be involved in. Rules are in place for all participants to abide by and to be punished by not for a board or a governing body to decide who's charged and who's pays. There is rules in place that should of been used in this case.
