Thomass
Ellis purchased it..then got into Bren's ear afterwards.... Then Jo fell in love with her...and the love of a women for a filly can't be denied Although if you'd been watching Karaka...Jo was desperate to win the bid on a filly...while Mork Chittick was alongside... ...but Bren snapped NO!! Which made Mork walk away to avoid a marital stoush.... Bren then gave Jo a hug...making sure Jo's hands were wrapped in the embrace...true story Hope that helps
Dark Beau
As an aside, David Ellis actually owns virtually nothing of all the horses that race in the Te Akau name. He does however clip the ticket all the the way through, thus giving him plenty, including a breeding share should the horse go to stud as have plenty. It's actually quite a good and profitable business model considering David doesn't actually put up a cent of his own money to purchase the horses in the first instance.
Ashley
OK im just reading advertisments saying that Te Akaus Probabeel won the karaka million and they have won the last three karaka million. Which Includes Melody Belle that is owned by Fortuna syndicate. I must remember that if I ever buy a house on spec and flick it on for a quick profit that I can still call it mine.
