Breaking new ground as Repole Stable's first European runner at Newmarket last month, WATCH PARTY (IRE) (Lope De Vega {Ire}) heads to the Norfolk seaside on Tuesday to attempt to deliver a first winner in the famed silks.

Trained by Roger Varian, the 300,000gns Tattersalls October Book 1 purchase is the third foal out of the Hoppings Stakes winner Nkosikazi (Cape Cross) who is in turn a half-sister to the triple Australian Group 1 winner Sir Delius (Frankel). Her debut effort was respectable, with the winner Lex Victoria confirming herself a genuine talent in the interim and with that experience under her belt should be hard to beat.

Standing in her way is Amo Racing's Ambience (GB) (Frankel {GB}), who at 850,000gns was the second-highest-priced filly at the 2024 Tattersalls December Foal Sale. Trained by Kevin Philippart De Foy, the daughter of the Listed-winning Auria (Muhaarar) from the family of the multiple Group winner Beat The Bank (Paco Boy) has not been seen since finishing sixth at Newmarket in May.

Among the newcomers is Salah Fustok's homebred Buyback (GB) (Baaeed {GB}), the first foal out of the owner-breeder's dual Group 3 winner Double Or Bubble (Exceed And Excel) who represents the James Horton stable, and the William Haggas-trained Sunderland Holdings homebred Sea La Roma (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Ire}), a granddaughter of the Preis der Diana heroine Amarette (Monsun).

1.40 Punchestown, Mdn, 2yo, 8f 30yT
Wells Watson has enjoyed a banner year in Ireland courtesy of his Irish Oaks heroine Johanna Walsh and his colours are carried by a notable newcomer at Punchestown on Tuesday in HARITA (GB) (Lope De Vega {Ire}).

Bought for 550,000gns at Tattersalls October Book 1, she is out of a half-sister to Sea The Stars's Derby and Irish Derby hero Harzand and the Group winner Harasiya (Pivotal) from the family of Hurricane Lane (Frankel) and Seal Of Approval (Authorized).

Joseph O'Brien introduces the blueblood against some proven types including Ballydoyle's Flame of Tara fourth Exceptionally (Into Mischief), the half-sister to City Of Troy who is looking to get off the mark at the fifth attempt, and Beach (Ire) (No Nay Never), a daughter of Galileo's Oaks heroine Was who beat only one home at The Curragh on her sole start in July.
