The DODGEM DERBY

What a dead set shockingly run race....

The winner had Blinkers back on...went sideways twice up the straight the first time...side swiped and caused mayhem to @ 6 neddys...

Gryllsy had no control and no fault

Then Waddell decided it was HIS Derby again...and flattened horses not once but TWICE....

Out until 16 APRIL!!

They all decided to take off at the same time 600 out...flushing 7/8 wide...into ground that was overwatered...so they had no chance...

...it just looked desperate and unbecoming of a Major race...

Probably cut it back to 16...make them qualify in serious races...ignore the ridiculous prize money accumulated rubbish...especially Arstralian exchange rates...wtf is that about??

..and surely Restricted Race stake money...where a 14th placing earnt one lucky f'er a start...ffs

Allowing prize money, gained from restricted races,to be counted toward qualifying for a Gr1 race such as the Derby is ridiculous. All it does is strengthen the hand in NZ Racing that the promoter of these restricted races has.

More restricted races coming perhaps.

Yes the Committee more than likely bent over backwards for The Vella Fellas race....

Banning any prize money from that would have earnt the the flash suited City Boys...Craig Baker, Pauly Willy Wilcox and hangers on...

...a trip to the out casts tent at Kraka...instead of free stuff...in the Vella Fellas flash az gazebo

...and no suit wants that embarrassment...

But at least they've admitted their idea of what constitutes fair....deserves to be on the next Spacex flight..off the planet

Perhaps Ellerslie should reinstate the passing lane [like they have at the rots]-It seemed to work well when they had it apart from some indecision from the jocks -do I go left ? do I go right ? decisions.... decisions........

You'll note the rail was the fastest all day wes...

I requested the pen readings taken...which showed the rail had the fastest readings

Imagine if Punters had that info at the START?

The concept of watering in the wind with olde world sprinklers means the water pisses everywhere...such is the case at HQ

Just the other night I was peeing on the Lemon tree..and I got a gush...right over the left knee...from a curry laden Sou Wester...f it

The BP found value on CP at 45's....after being a G3 winner with BO 1st time...unlucky last start when shuffled back from the horror rail draw....ran on well while gawking around...

Funny, but no surprise, that CP was not mentioned at all in your pre-race musings, Thomass. Why didn't you mention him as a stand-out before the race?

Let me answer for you, since you NEVER select before a race.... you didn't realise until after he'd won that there were reasons why he might reverse his form.

As Moy said wesy

I gave you two of the niches...I.e. the fittest as per the BP...

...but I hadn't done the form for that race when you arksed...are you deaf?

And of course I've written ad in for f in nitey about BLINKERS...either first time or On again

PODRAVINA qualified solely on her BT performance at Level weights last start...back in class...8 units...an xtra 2 for BO First time

RONCHI qualified solely on BO First time...with its excellent course record and last start 1200M form..first time Blinkers in 41 starts

valued that at 11's...started 50's...went under by a lip...

Its about niches Wes...and sticking to the algorithms...no emotion...ok?

since you "requested the Pen readings" I assume you requested them before the races and received them before the reaces...why didnt you post them  -as a helpful bloke would - on this site?

Unbelievably they're not allowed to give them BEFORE the races...thanks NZTR

Transparency is anathema to those f'ers...along with the RIU

Lets point it out again Wesly

IF Lisa Allpress takes her stick out pre-race...

To find out the best ground

wtf are Punters denied the 30 pen readings that have been taken??

Given that PUNTERS keep Lisa employed??

why are they a secret?

I'm picking they're protecting clubs who haven't got up to date watering cans...

...and spray it all over the place...like shu does

They can't even give a pen reading for the course..let alone the 30 readings they take..

...hence Stipe Coles predicting a updated D 5...which turned into a S7...for the whole f in day

Pitty even wrote an article in the Informant about how idiotic it was...and supporting young Thomass

The guy is so full of shit it is unbeleivable.  I would go as far to say he does not even bet, just a total flip that craves attention.

And you may have missed it shrew

Jase stated on race morning

"the inner track took a hit on Boxing Day...so we had a machine go over the INNER PART OF THE TRACK"

Why do you think the inner played faster then shrew?
