Chief Stipe
In-form Tasmanian stayer Eastender has drawn a wide barrier for his first interstate assignment in the Gr. 2 Adelaide Cup. Eastender has won his past four starts including the Devonport, Hobart and Launceston Cups and has drawn barrier 18 in a capacity field of 20 plus one emergency for Monday’s Adelaide Cup over 3200 metres.
