Failing to hit the mark in maiden special weight company in her first three outings, she earned her diploma in style with a victory in the track-and-trip Busanda S. last time Feb. 3. Given a 7-2 chance to repeat here, the Repole homebred pressed pacesetting GII Demoiselle S. romper Positive Spirit (Pioneerof the Nile) from second through a leisurely first half-mile in :50.09. Drawing even with the leader on the backstretch, the bay veered in a bit, brushing her foe in early stretch, but was quickly straightened out by Manny Franco and sent forward, edging clear to score in 1:52.91.
