Brown Back With Talented Trio for Jenny Wiley

A year after saddling the first three home in GI Coolmore Jenny Wiley S., won by future Eclipse Award winner Sistercharlie (Ire) (Myboycharlie {Ire}), trainer Chad Brown sends out three of the eight runners this time around and a repeat of last year’s feat is certainly not completely out of the question.

eFive Racing’s Rushing Fall (More Than Ready) won the GIII Jessamine S. at two and the GII Appalachian S. and GI QE II Challenge Cup last season and could join Take Charge Lady (Dehere) as horses to win as many as four black-type races at Keeneland. The bay was handed the lone defeat of her career in the GIII Edgewood S. last May, but she bounced back to win a soft-turf renewal of Saratoga’s GII Lake Placid S. in August before validating 2-5 favoritism in the QE II.

Rymska (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}) was sixth to stablemate Uni (GB) (More Than Ready) in the one-mile GI Matriarch S. at Del Mar last December and has two runs under her belt this term, an alibi-free runner-up effort in the GIII Suwannee River S. at Gulfstream Feb. 9 ahead of a two-length defeat of the swan-songing Hawksmoor (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}) and stable companion Onthemoonagain (Fr) (Cape Cross {Ire}) in the GII Hillsborough S. at Tampa Mar. 9.

Bellavais (Tapit) could be the one to crash the Brown party. The chestnut, whose second dam Memories of Silver (Silver Hawk) won the 1996 QE II, was a two-time stakes winner for the Phillips Racing Partnership and trainer Jimmy Toner before being purchased by Bortolazzo Stable for $485,000 at the 2018 Keeneland January Sale. She has won two of her four starts for new connections, including a 3 1/2-length victory in the GIII Marshua’s River S. Jan. 12. She exits a third to the Brown-conditioned Precieuse (Ire) (Tamayuz {GB}) in the GIII Honey Fox S. at Gulfstream Mar. 2 and will try to give trainer Todd Pletcher a first Jenny Wiley win.
