Filling out the trifecta in the GIII Bold Ruler H. on dirt Nov. 2 at Aqueduct, he made the lead into deep stretch of the GI Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational S. before settling for third last out Jan. 26 at Gulfstream. Taking a flood of late money to go off the narrow favorite at 8-5 here, the dark bay was second-last behind a :24.25 quarter and dropped back to trail off of a :47.79 half. Starting to pick up his feet on the latter half of the far bend, he swept past the leaders outside the sixteenth pole and kicked clear to a 1 3/4-length success.
