It was the auction’s third seven-figure transaction and the second to come from the de Meric Sales consignment. The de Meric family purchased the bay colt for $300,000 at last year’s Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale. He is out of the unraced Dixie Song (Fusaichi Pegasus), a half-sister to multiple stakes winner By the Light (Malibu Moon).
