Just checked the musical chairs on the NZGRA website and no more mention of the Welfare Officer? Instead Greg Kerr is back in charge of it.
Nothing mentioned to LP's - When did she go and why? A bit of a worry in these troublesome times.

Bit of a conflict of intrest being racing manager and welfare officer as well , who is going to keep the racing manager on his toes with wefare in racing, , himself ????? Maybe that was his problem he didn't like being told you carn't do that.

It's not like she did anything for the sport, bar an irrelevant/incoherent/incompetent policy per year...

The welfare managers role is to manage welfare. Coles is under criminal charges for breaches of the animal welfare code. What's she done about it?

J Mc kennel staff killed several dogs on the ferry, her action? Wasn't it some policy about not leaving any greyhounds unattended by an LP? What about a racing greyhound that spent overnight in a vet's clinic after a minor/major surgery, while no LP was present, did she see that her policy was enforced?
