The Centaur
About time NZ realized this isn't good old England. There is no way safety, training and resources can go into jumps racing the way it does in the UK. No problem horses being educated for jumping e.g. eventing. Perhaps some flat races can be restricted to jumpers but really the costs need to be weighed up.

The UK fatality and Injury rate is much worse than NZs, I don’t think we have anything to learn from them.

Don't know where you get your claim from.

Buck your bloody ideas up TRACKSIDE! Shocking scenes at Rotorua Hedley...Trackside Radio reported ALL horses were ok..when the clearly weren't...fair dinkum Rodgy's horse got caught midshps on getting up and was catapulted into the air with another 2 falling in the meelee.... ...there's something bad about that Rotorua track when it comes to falling... The sooner NZ adopts the new colour change of fluoro yellow sighter strips that the Brits have adopted...the better...
