Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted September 10, 2019 Journalists Share Posted September 10, 2019 Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor is taking aim at the Spring Carnival in Australia with Dream Castle (GB) (Frankel {GB}) and Royal Meeting (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) eyeing some of the feature races. Bin Suroor saddled Benbatl (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) and Best Solution (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) to Group 1 wins in the Southern Hemisphere last season. A winner of the G1 Jebel Hatta during Meydan’s Super Saturday card in early March, Dream Castle most recently ran off the board in the G1 Queen Anne S. at Royal Ascot. The undefeated Royal Meeting has not been seen on the racecourse since winning Chantilly’s G1 Criterium International last October. “We have other horses for the Spring Carnival this year,” said Bin Suroor. “We are looking at taking Dream Castle out there, and also Royal Meeting. He [Royal Meeting] was a Group 1 winner at two in France. He had a problem, which meant he couldn’t run so far this year, but we’ll find a race for him and start in Australia with him.
