Wow...the 'rumour' has been out about this for a while now...just how good neddys' bounce back after a Heart setback as big as this...

....is there some unknown hidden enzyme that's activated itself by a bodily chemical reaction after the Heart has electrocuted itself?

Is the standard Veterinary treatment of Quinine activating a go fast hormone undetectable to Vet Science?

So may questions so few answers..

Suffice to say the 2 winning at massive odds during the last week...LOIRE and KEEP IT SAVVY got renewed energy from somewhere...

Maybe the combo of BLINKERS and Heart Chemicals?

Just get on!!

For a start AF is not uncommon nor is it normally a big setback other than in the race that it occurs.  It seems to occur most predominantly in horses approaching or at full fitness.

As for inferring that Quinine is a "go fast" or triggers some form of hormonal response is rubbish.  Not all horses that have AF need to be given AF as the recovery can be just as quick as the onset.  The science around this issue is comprehensive.

I must say we had a horse that had AF who came back and won the next start.  She obviously ran faster than the previous start where she had AF but she didn't run any faster than she already had shown she could.

So the Blueprint gets bigger:

Late 3yr old, dropping back from premier to mid week, with blinkers first time, unlucky last start, caught wide without cover, had AF and was treated with Quinine and isn't pregnant.
