Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted April 11, 2020 Journalists Share Posted April 11, 2020 PNEUMATIC (c, 3, Uncle Mo-Teardrop, by Tapit) came from off the pace to score impressively at Oaklawn Park Saturday, becoming a TDN Rising Star in the process. Eased back to a stalking position while four wide around the first turn, he tugged at Ricardo Santana Jr. though a :47.38 half mile. Given the cue approaching the quarter pole, he swung out four wide turning for home, shot to the front midstretch and drew off to win by a widening three lengths over Captain Bombastic (Forty Tales). In his debut going six furlongs here Feb. 15, Pneumatic came from off the pace to edge runner-up Skol Factor (The Factor), subsequent winner of Oaklawn’s third race on Saturday’s card.
