While some swear by this place and use all the information on it to extol the virtues of the stable to the heavens I find it quite smug and condescending.

The rant that was on there a wee while back about the rating system was an example and now there are further examples at the moment.

How self-absorbed is it to put in that betting is suspended on the jewels in a communique about drug testing? 

History demands it? Please, pass me the bucket.

My goodness, even the marble of chance is not allowed to stand in their way of winning.

The website has more than a touch of arrogance and rudeness that does not befit the way stable is run.

Yes it is very condescending, they have the most cashed up owners that can buy the best bred and most expensive horses, generally get the rub of the green in the draw department in most of the big races and feel hard done by because 8 of 21 have drawn 2nd line draws...please...I really hope the little battler trainer and owners have a bit of luck this year..

Agree, it does not come across very sportingly.

A quick look at other trainers shows:

Cran Dalgety, 8 runners, 5 on the second row.

Robert Dunn, 8 Runners, 4 on the second row.

Steven Reid, 2 runners, both on the second row.

Barry Purdon., 3 Runners, all three on the second row.

Look, they are wonderful trainers, but I remember last year after our horse had beaten their four horses, they went back three months and said he had 2 more races than some of their runners. Maybe they under- rated our horse, and were outdriven.
