What have I said in the Blue Print about FRESH UP BLINKERS ON...Magoo

DP was in the exact Blue Print ffs...

...previously unlucky in it first two starts fresh up early in the year..caught wide without cover both starts...I assessed both runs as finishing within a length of the winner...even though the numerical form said rubbish

...tell moi you don't look at numerals wals??

I assessed DP as value at 17's...ended up incredible value at 60's...in a 10 horse mid weaker

Post race the trainer said "no surprise..won a jump out impressively last week..BO first time

Riccarton R9 #11 Battle Kat, at 10s, I priced value at 6s.

Wanganui R4 #7 Ritzy Sparkle at 16s, I priced value at 8s.

And maybe a long priced Q in the last, #7 Cancellara with #8 Carnaby - both starting with the letter C - and we know that is something to be aware of!

The good thing is it's both before and after Christmas at the moment, so should be good to go.

Nice barry, certainly a few long odds options in there. Go The Kraken (I priced at $20).

I only included Velocci because it started with a V, cant remember since Xmas backing a horse starting with a V.

I also have found that horses with 2 or more words are far more successful that those with just the 1, no idea why but it works.

I only took Morse Code as it reminded me of trying to decipher Tommys selections, as clearly they are hidden in code.

It also has a name with two words barryb, is over 3yo after Christmas and has sidewinkers on. Should bolt in.

And I don't see why you have too much trouble deciphering Thommo's selections. If you can get your head around the primary criterion which is that they won the day before you'll master it.

I missed that, right I am going to double up on it now.

Anyone have thoughts on Etah James in race 4 at Mooney Valley today?

Cheers.

Robert.

Very unlucky last start, nominated for The Metropolitan and the Melbourne Cup. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the inside of the near fore cannon.

Rated $11 by me, marginal value, # 14 Last Week also rated $11 is far better value.

Cup noms in this race are possibly going to have to win to get some ratings points. Weight allocated probably won't be enough to make cup unless wins an exempt race as hard to earn enough from rehandicapping alone. Winning this will obviously help any.
