Thomass Posted May 24, 2021 Share Posted May 24, 2021 So in the last month the so called 'track check'...you know....when the USELESS RIU...soon to be disbanded thank da gods... ...peruse the Total perimeter and all round environs of said track.... ...AKA the Race Track...yea that...to make SURE the Race Track is SAFE to race on...ok? Well last month at the Tauranga races the 'Stipes' had a wee slip up and forgot to check...the result being a Dog Walker and their 2 dogs were walking close to the actual race track.... ...thankfully the 2 half breds were taking a dump at the time...off piste...tragedy averted... So you'd think after all that there'd be a 'general alert' alerted for... CHECK THE F IN TRACK BEFORE THE STARTER LETS THEM GO...ok? And onto ELLERSLIE a couple of weeks later...you know where Golfers didn't fear to tread in front of Jumpers...and Starters who forget to load the ENTIRE field away... ...and 'Track Staff' who didn't know to GET THE F OFF the Track when the Champagne Stakes are underway... So the Starter lets them go and 2 'track repairers' are busy repairing....over behind the cabbage trees and general unsighted 800M mark with a Hugh amount of overgrown vegetation...probably where Waddell used to grow his stash So the question was... Did said 'Stipes' arrive up in George's box...where these 'Stipes' check the track is clear...before the start, or were these 'track repairers' unsighted behind the overgrown overgrowth hiding the locals stash? Or both? Judge for yourself from the still vid pick doing the rounds..note the 'repairer's' leg in the air has he/she dives under the rail to avoid death...and a mouthful of 'stash' Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cmon Willie...stop being a Greenie... ...top the Cabbage, tidy up your bush and make sure the HOPELESS RIU are up in the Comms box BEFORE each race starts... So they've got no excuses for making sure the track's clear....ok? Do it by this weekend's meeting....ok? You're in charge of HQ and it looks a bloody mess at the moment... But pinging that dirty cheat David Walker...was totes justified In this case of the RIU FAILING to do their jobs....AGAIN They would've been better sitting on top of the cabbage tree....smoking it And they could've arksed the 2 HQ track invaders "WTF yous doing" But you'd have noted how the incompetent 'stipes' apportioned blame in their 'report' 3 times they added "ARC Track staff" Absolving themselves of ANY blame whatsoever... Thanks Crikey Thommo STIPES HAVE FULL CAMERA CONTROL OVER THE COURSE CLEARLY THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE TO CHECK TRACK BEFORE EACH RACE .THEY DONT EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE THEIR ARMCHAIRS IN THE ROOM. A few things here...that room is dead set full of distractions...nuts, chippies, dips et el...especially for the JCA fat ass's to scoff...assisted by starving Stipes... ...but mostly they love a wee trip upstairs to the Comms box for a chat to their buddies...its a GAUREENTEED R&R distraction for at least a few minutes from the days tedium of disciplining trainers for leaving off towels when saddling... ...and if they're a little late....as was the case in this 'Willie trim your Bush' so we can see incident... ...they missed their chance of alerting the starter.... ....and then there's the case of the missing cameras due to cost cutting....which they complained about the day after Melbourne Cup day at Avondale...where 2 horses had to be euthanised...and they couldn't 'observe' from the comfort of their lazy boys... SO...even with all the tech available...and a quick flick of a switch to enable cell phone observance of said tech... ...the good old fashioned EYES are still the fall back option ain't they?
